Day 1: Let's Get Started (week1)

Hello reader. This is my blog for you and for myself. I am using this blog to show every thought, every decision, every mistake, every discovery, every error, and every accomplishment that I've made throughout the process of becoming a part of the media. How am I becoming a part of this so-called media you ask? Well, by creating a magazine and blog to share with you!

Initially, this project scared the living daylights out of me because how could I, an inexperienced high school student, create a thriving and meaningful piece to contribute to the media? It turns out that although I don't have much of a choice, I am also quite eager to see what I can accomplish with the knowledge I posses.

I have chosen to do a magazine (as I mentioned before) for the reason that I feel as though magazines are a big part of the daily human life... when we pass aisles in the grocery store, in the mall, etc. And these media outlets have the ability to send very powerful messages to the anyone that may pick them up or read them.

So the questions I faced were: What do I have to say to the world? What makes my magazine different? What message do I want to relay? And keeping this in mind, how will my magazine create a profound impact?

So, dear reader, I guess all I can say is stay tuned to find out!
